I am

I am a woman and an admirer of the world

I wonder when Covid-19 will end

I hear the sounds of nature

I see there are changes in our life

I want to make a contribution to humanity

I am a woman and an admirer of the world

I pretend to be always in harmony

I feel the rain on my face

I touch rainbows in the sky

I worry about my family’s health

I cry when I feel disappointed

I am a woman and an admirer of the world

I understand the importance of friendship

I say Chile is going to be a fairer country

I dream about my future

I hope people have more social conscience

I try to be a better person every day

I am a woman and an admirer of the world

I  am

I am old but still curious

I wonder how this world runs

I hear complaining from weak people

I see the future world

I want people to be really equal

I am old but still curious

I pretend to be satisfied with my life

I feel my heart is aching

I touch the remote sky of paradise

I worry about the boundary between rich and poor

I cry for the hopeless people

I am old but still curious

I understand life is not easy

I say that efforts lead in a good direction

I dream of a peaceful and happy world

I try to fathom this world by learning

I hope the walls separating people will fall down

I am old but still curious

– Grace (China)

I am

I am smiling and curious

I wonder about my future in Canada

I hear waves of the sea

I see the blue sky

I want to be happy

I am smiling and curious

I pretend to be brave when I am afraid

I feel the wind on my skin

I touch the seawater

I worry about after the pandemic

I cry when I’m sad and when I’m happy

I am smiling and curious

I understand what I want isn’t always possible

I say we need to love the change

I dream of a generous world

I hope all of you will be happy

I try to respect every difference between us

I am smiling and curious

  • Getsabel (Chile)

I am

I am your daughter and far away

I worry about you, mom

I hear you call my nickname in the daytime

I see your kind face at midnight

I want to help you get rid of illness

I am your daughter and far away

I pretend I have one pair of large wings

The wings could take me home cross the ocean

I know your smell to find you

I worry if you still remember me

I cry in your warm embrace

I am your daughter and far away

I understand I have grown up and must be strong

I say thank you for teaching me everything

I dreamed one day you could hold my hands as before

I try to make time goes back

I hope I could say I love you once again

I am your daughter and far away
